Breakfast at 11:20pm

Just over an hour away from Paris (7:20am) and the flight crew has awaken the cabin with breakfast. However it is the middle of the night for me and I have not been able to sleep.
Being served meals on a flight causes me to reminisce about a time when everyone was treated like they were in first class.

  1. Good old airplane food. Looks more like hospital food to me.

  2. Last summer I went on a long flight to London. I had a similar situation with being served breakfast in the middle of the night to help us get used to the time change. Most people were asleep because they weren't prepared for this change. I was awake since I couldn't sleep as I had already slept several hours on the plane.

  3. During the summer, I went on a family trip to Hawaii. We got pretty much the same thing for breakfast. My flight was at 7 AM but it was around 5 PM when we got to Hawaii. It was very long but it was a nice flight.

  4. This winter I am going to London with my Grandmother and cousin, now I know what to look forward too. I'll probably be asleep as they come around with the breakfast, get up to eat, and then sleep again until we land. I think it's pretty cool how there's complimentary breakfast. This also reminds me about learning about how to order things in Spanish.

  5. I have been on international flights many times and have my fair share of airplane food. My most recent flight, I didn't even wake up for the food! Long flights are hard enough as it is, and the below par food doesn't help the situation much.

  6. This last spring break our family took a trip to Hawaii. They had food on the plane, but none of it looked good at all. It is not a long of flight as it is to Paris, but it was the longest one I have been on. In our Spanish class we learned how to order food while at restaurants or on vacations, I hope to be able to use these skills while ordering at restaurants.
